To find which skis we should get we test a large range the criteria we use is the
same we use for helping people to chose their ski. We do range designed for women
balanced differently from men's
- Ability:what are your goals some people are happy at the level they are at some people
want to be better
- Where do you ski:not only where but how
- Size iam a great beliver small skis are good. By getting a small ski it is easier
to turn and will be better on ice, get a ski which come to around your chin although
if your tall but light you might slightly smaller will work better
Categories:their are four main types of ski.
- Piste this describes the person who sticks to the pisted routes only if venture off
piste you may find they sink.
- All-mountain.this categorize is for people wanting a ski to perform on piste and
off piste the problem is they generally are not as good on piste as the piste skis
and not good off piste as off piste skis. As a group usually not as good at ice as
the piste skis.
- Off-piste(back country). Some of these skis can be up to twice the width of piste
skis and can be almost impossible in icy conditions usually bought as second pair.
- Park. Very flexible with bindings mounted in the middle these skis are popular for
their designs but can be again not very easy to control on piste because of its flexibly
unless your light.
